Fighting Grade Inflation Takes Work

I gave 50+ Fs and D's this 3-4 weeks with no student complaints. It's doubled my office hours . It's getting students into office hours for the first time in their college experience , but I think I have finally found a way to fight grade inflation and to lay the contemporary college student bare to themselves--their own need for real professors , real accountability. Grade inflation has been on my sights . It's a Democrat invention. that is destroying American higher Ed. If you'd like to know my new technique , let me know . 70% of my students are currently failing the course. Again, no student complaints . I got them to agree that's what they deserve. I must have a death wish, not in the Charles Bronson sense. (In the original DW, he goes from being an explicit NY liberal to a non-lib after visiting out west, LOL).
