There’s a CATO video resource you may be interested in if you’re teaching kids about homelessness and unnecessary strains on housing availability.
There’s a graphic novel by Bryan Caplan that takes the reader through the arbitrary reality of housing regulations.
It’s not a well-understood thing, especially among the young.
This is the kind of resource that could make a big difference in a student’s perspective on the homeless crisis.
When you take a significant percentage of the individual/family’s budget (housing) and double it, that’s not the best anti-homelessness measure. How’d this connection get missed ?
