A Great Way to Remember 9/11
Foiling the New York City Subway Bombing, Sept 11, 2009 on Lawfare Podcast, Oct 11, 2013 (Episode 44, with Matt Apuzzo)
If you're into Podcasts, a great way to remember Sept 11, 2001 is to hear the entire episode of Lawfare, Oct. 11, 2013. It describes the surveillance that led to the nearly accidental disruption of the plot to blow up the New York subway system with backpack bombs on the 8th anniversary of 9/11, on Sept 11, 2009

Srsly, it's a very good episode to remember 9/11 with, and there's quite a bit of stuff in there about how far we've come as a surveillance state, too, that is somewhat disturbing, at least by my lights (and that was back in 2009, produced and published in. 2013, so keep that in mind, as well).
