Came across a Reddit post someone sent me.
I’ll let the post speak for itself.
A close-up of the post is below.
Can I answer the question posed at the end ?
It will only end when enough people or the right people put a stop to it.
Until then, people like me will put a stop to it where they can but then they find they get such tremendous, systemic push-back that they get crushed by the crowd that wants grade-inflation.
That crowd includes thought-less parents, low-attention spanned students, checked-out taxpayers (some of these categories overlap), administrators who want high enrollment and low student complaints, professors who want to go along to get along so they don’t find themselves out of work, and the list goes on.
It will continue to snow-ball like this, because it is a systemic, vicious cycle. A vicious cycle is one that can’t solve itself on its own power.

Yikes! The implications are mind-boggling. Insanity is the correct term.
