UC Irvine Medical Ethics Chief Suspended
For Failure to be a Human Subject in an Experiment without his Informed Consent
This is a mind-bender from 2021.
The chief bio-medical ethicist at UC Irvine School of Medicine in October 2021 was suspended, without pay, by Democrats in California for failure to be a human subject in an experiment without his informed consent.
My third Masters is in bio-medical ethics from Loyola Marymount University’s Bioethics Institute in Lost Angeles.
This would have been unheard of just 18 years ago when I was a student in the program.
Informed consent is a necessary condition of consent, and consent is a bedrock of bio-medical ethics, whether it’s treatment, care, or experimentation.
Indeed, human subjects in experimentation is one of the most rigorously scrutinized aspects of any issue in bio-medical ethics. Animals are typically used instead of humans because of the extremely sensitive issues involved in human experimentation.
We cannot forget what the Democrats did to basic human decency in 2021.
Never again !, as the saying goes.
