But why is a fetus a human being? Like I feel like , do you know what I mean, like like being born is what makes you human.

A fetus . What kind of fetus?

Huh?

A pig fetus? A squirrel fetus ? A bat fetus ? You know those are all mammals . You just said “fetus”.

Oh, right . I mean a human fetus, the student said .

Didn’t you just answer your own question ?, the professor axed.

[The student’s eyes went up and to the left, then right.] Oh.

Yeah, the student said, after a pause.

[It was deathly silent in the classroom].

Well that’s why they pay me the big bucks, the professor said as he took a swig from his porcelain coffee mug that says “World’s Best Therapist.”

Other questions ? Yes, go ahead.

So you said Nixon appointed both Blackmun *and* Rehnquist , but then why are they....
