The Central Fact in the 2024 Election

City Journal's "10 Blocks" episode "Digital Censorship" 6 Sept 2023 Nailed it in 15 minutes

The cultural fact, most politically salient in the 2024 elections, is that the Democrats have dominated the culture of America. The ghettoization of Republicans is a result and a strategy, but one that seems to me to be evidence of the demonic, since no Democrat or group of Democrats is smart enough, has a long enough attention span, to pull this kind of thing off.

The cultural fact, referenced above, is effective control of speech.

City Journal’s “10 Blocks” podcast published an episode yesterday (6 Sept. 2023, Wed) called “Digital Censorship,” which is only 17 minutes long. I’ve never seen this cultural fact I refer to in the first paragraph so beautifully and powerfully summarized in such a short time frame.
