Harvard University’s Education/Government Department runs the “Education Exchange” podcast.
On 1 October 2018, the podcast hosted an American University public policy scholar who crunched the data scientifically from North Carolina.
What he documented is that phenomenon we all know exists. We see it in popular culture, for example in the new Paul Giamatti film “The Holdovers” (now on Amazon Prime).1 Grade inflation is prevalent in well-to-do schools.
It’s documented with data crunchers using reliable research methodology. North Carolina is a gold-mine for such data.
